President and Co-Owner
Aneesa has been the President and Owner of Pioneer Service since 1993. At that time, she had already gained 10 years of first-hand experience in her family’s precision machining business. Shortly after taking the reins, Aneesa grew Pioneer Service from its original 10,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space to its current 25,000 sq. ft. Over the years, her entrepreneurial spirit has driven the company’s sales growth. Her mission is to provide top service and quality to her customers and a workplace where each employee feels valued and can grow to their full potential.
Aneesa is a member of the board of directors at the Precision Machined Products Association (PMPA), Valley Industrial Association (VIA) and the Illinois Manufacturers Excellence Center (IMEC), where she oversees activities on behalf of the membership by contributing to policies, programs, and objectives to maximize the association’s performance. Her other passions include her family and volunteering for humanitarian efforts, both domestically and internationally. She is the mother of two grown sons and is the proud grandmother of two. Aneesa is a certified Regional Trainer for the American Red Cross, and spends many long weekends a year providing relief to victims of natural disasters around the world. Vice President of Operations
Steve has been in charge of Pioneer Service’s operations since 2002. His responsibilities span the entire company’s manufacturing and building operations. Additionally, he serves as our ISO Management Representative and is accountable for customer quoting. His 35 years’ experience in the screw machining industry also includes 12 years’ experience with centerless and creep-feed grinding. Prior to Pioneer Service, Steve’s background included positions as Shipping Manager, Materials Manager, Director of Materials and Procurement, Plant Manager and Plant Superintendent. Steve is leveraging his expertise in Materials Management, Supervision, and Lean Manufacturing to help drive Pioneer Service’s growth. His primary focus is ensuring that our Manufacturing and Quality Assurance equipment, personnel and procedures continue to provide our customers a competitive advantage. Director of Sales
Eric joined Pioneer Service in October 2012 as Director of Sales and Marketing. With a background in materials engineering, he has 25 years’ experience in technical sales management ranging from fabricated metal parts and insert-molded components to low- carbon steels. Eric has served manufacturers of all sizes, from machine shops to Fortune 500 enterprises, and is very familiar with providing custom prototypes and production parts to the automotive, medical device, wireless, HVAC and motor/generator industries. He is encouraged that North American OEMs now recognize the cost advantages of working with world-class suppliers within their own region. Eric’s current focus is building relationships with manufacturers who value Pioneer Service’s comprehensive machining platform of Swiss CNC Lathes, CNC turning centers, and unique in-house centerless grinding services. He is also seeking partnering and teaming opportunities to leverage the company’s certified Women-Owned Business status. You can connect with Eric on LinkedIn. Business Development Manager
Rose of Sharon joined Pioneer Service in August 2013. Since 2000, she’s worked in the metals industry providing solutions to manufacturing companies of all sizes and complexities. She brings technical expertise in metals as well as a holistic understanding of manufacturing business practices. At Pioneer Service Inc. she’s building relationships to contribute not only quality machined parts but ideas to help Pioneer’s customers prosper.
Rose of Sharon represents Pioneer Service at supplier diversity events as the designated “WBE representative.” She’s an experienced resource for manufacturing companies owned by women and minorities, able to help in their efforts to demonstrate value to corporations of all sizes. In 2015 Rose of Sharon led the ERP selection process which resulted in Pioneer Service selecting Global Shop Solutions as it’s primary business management software. She oversaw implementation and continues to be the key resource for the company’s technology needs, leading the efforts for improvements in process and the effective use of data to drive company success. She is also responsible for establishing and implementing the marketing plan, including website, marketing and social media program at Pioneer. In addition to growing business, she’s passionate about helping and healing children through adoption and foster care work. Since 2003, she and her husband have fostered a number of children and currently have five boys. James joined Pioneer Service in November 2016. He brings a wealth of experience, ranging from airplane maintenance in the Navy to 14 years as a Quality & Safety Manager specific to Swiss machining. His strong quality background includes familiarity with process validations, calibration programs, internal & external audits, Statistical Process Control (SPC), PPAP’s and Six Sigma training. Our customers can rest assured that James’ team will provide the quality parts and documentation they are accustomed to receiving from Pioneer Service.
